Sonic and Mario's Party Place, a one-of-a-kind family entertainment facility from SMPP Inc., has been operating since 2014 with massive success. The main appeal comes in the clones, crafted as genetic replications of iconic characters sporting unique appearances. Recently, one of these clones, based on Luigi, had mysteriously defected and was able to live independently. To make matters worse, a mysterious string of murders that began sometime prior just started ramping up. SMPP Inc. found itself in a state of limbo with less visits and more speculation. In response, the company opened up a position for a nightwatchman in hopes of finding the cause.

That's where you come in. You've been aware of the recent events, sensing something deeper is up. After successfully applying for the job, you're set to keep things safe during the night. However, you come to learn that when midnight strikes, the clones aren't quite themselves...
