Sonic and Mario's Party Place, a one-of-a-kind kids entertainment facility from SMPP Inc., has been operating since 2014 with massive success. The success factor comes in the clones, each crafted by genetically replicating an iconic "hero" while also giving them unique appearances. Recently, one of these clones, based on Luigi, had mysteriously defected and decided to live independently. Why it happened is currently a hot topic, putting SMPP Inc. in limbo. In response, the company opened up a position for a nightwatchman in hopes of finding the cause.

That's where you come in. You've been aware of the place and all the talk going around it, sensing something could be up. After successfully applying for the job, it's time to learn what's happening behind-the-scenes. Now, you'll come to realize that the clones aren't quite themselves when midnight strikes...

Immerse yourself into an alternative universe of Five Nights at Sonic's, where the strange story is retold under a different light. In this universe, not all is what you consider familiar. Survive by utilizing your resources and adapting with the ways of the clones' aggressive, nocturnal behavior. Assist Clone Luigi, the defective clone, in seeking the origin of this strange occurrence and figure out what, or who, is responsible. Do you have what it takes to solve the mystery?
